• Lead pastor

    Dave and Robin Knudsen have been serving the church for the last 20 years. They have 3 kids (Joshua, Caleb & Abi) and have been married for 24 years. On any given week, you can find Dave mentoring leaders in the local coffee shop, playing Hockey (scoring a bunch of goals), or spending time dreaming up ways to more effectively advance the gospel. He loves the up and coming generation and is passionate about building a faith community that can walk alongside them. 

  • Youth Pastor

    Amy loves diving into God’s Word and helping teens make sense of it in real life. She’s always believed that the best way to teach faith is to live it, and she tries to do that every day. Her heart for youth ministry started when she was a teen herself, serving at Camp Bob and in Young Life, and it’s only grown since then. She’s married to Isaiah Tiede, and the two of them serve in youth ministry together. They’re both passionate about creating a place where students feel welcomed, encouraged, and free to grow in their walk with Jesus.

  • YOUNG ADULTS Pastor

    Zac came on staff to help lead our CLC INTERNSHIP in 2025 and has continued on leading our college and career Young Adults. With a passion for Jesus he loves to go all in. Whether that's a 4am devo challenge or jumping off some high cliff. Zac loves to live life to the fullest as he serves God with everything he has. He is passionate about young adults and seeing them step into all the God has for them. He also helps lead a few of our Sunday teams, overseeing tech, video, projection as well as our Connect teams. 

  • TEAMS Pastor

    With over 20 years of Pastoral Experience, we are thrilled to have Thys on our team. With a passion and heart for equipping and mobilizing people to service, Thys brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping people to discover and engage the mission that God has called them to. Thys also contributes as a part of our Sunday teaching team as well. 

  • LEAD TEAM

    What a wonderful team we have helping to bring leadership to CLC. Sam Banton- Smith, Jon Nickel, Anthony Hawkes and Melissa Cross all come with different gifts and abilities. But a shared heart and passion for seeing Jesus made known here in our community. 



  • Team Member

    There is not one set thing we are looking for here from more team members. Sure there are many roles that will need to be filled over time, but rather we are looking for people who are interested in living on mission in Port Alberni. Not sure exactly what that means?
